The Bug Eater is a proven insect trapping system by drowning - bringing insects back to manageable levels.
It breaks the breeding cycle of light-attracted insects taking the male out of breeding - thus no poisons or gases trying to destroy females and their eggs.

"How does it work?"
By a UV black light attracting the insect and its pushed into the water tray that has detergent added and they are pushed down by a fan in the unit.
"Where do you put it?"
It is best outside, facing to the area you want to clear, so where the light shines best and mound it on the wall or a fence close to power.
"How long do you leave it on?"
On at Dusk and off at Dawn, it works best when there is no competitive light, it attracts while you are in bed and all the lights are out, trapping the male insects that are the flyer and stops the female breeding.
"What is the detergent for?"
We recommend just a few drops of a detergent that has no sent and mixed with the water it breaks the water tension or viscosity and that means that when the insect hit the down draft it hits the water and does not stay on the top, they just sing thraight through the surface.
"What is the black tube?"
We have UV created by the contents inside the tube, it is especially calibrated to attract a range of insects from blood suckers to moths, it is important that it is this tube, if it’s just a bright light it will get a few moths and beetles but will not fix the insects that bite or breed in the garden. We back our lights to be the best there is.
"What is the guarantee?"
We provide a full guarantee that it will work and in line with the consumer laws, we will refund or replace the unit, it has a warranty for a year for everything except the bulb, it is back to base by you and we provide it covered back to you if it is a warranty claim.
"What is the warranty?"
12 months, back to base, we pride ourselves to replace it or fix it, you send it or take it back to the place you bought it and it will be fixed immediately or if not replaced.
"Does it hurt the environment?"
No, we see that wherever a Bug Eater is used, it just takes our the build up of insects breeding due to the human race making it nice around the house or the business for insects to breed in the infrastructure like pipes, drains, gardens and watered areas. We do not believe Bug Eaters should be used anywhere near natural breeding grounds and open spaces.
"What do you do to empty it?"
The tray will fill up with lots of insects and they are best fed to the natural preditor the birds, or an alternative is to put the bugs in the compost or the garden as it helps to increase worms and soil structures around trees and the garden.
"Can it go inside or out?"
No problem in side, but it is very rare there is a breeding cycle inside, its meant to be outside facing the area where you think they are coming from and get them before they breed. Some times can be taken inside for a few nights if the need arises but generally its best out side drawing them away from the house.
